A pioneering charity has employed a farmer as part of a multi-million-pound plan to turn a County Durham farm into a visitor attraction as well as a training centre for autistic people. Peter Barron reports
- The £5.5m project will create 60 jobs and training opportunities for autistic people
- It will include cafe, a petting farm and accessible walks alongside existing family respite lodges
- If all goes to plan the first visitors to the new farm will be within two years
