Loosefest: Trick Fest and 90s Babies Festival
Following the disappointment of last year’s last minute cancellation due to high winds and the safety concerns which blew in with it, Loosefest is back and has booked two distinct days of festival shenanigans on the Town Moor.
Trick Fest (Aug 3) will bring 20 artists to three stages, headed up by DJ Patrick Topping and featuring the likes of Bom Dolla, Hannah Laing, and Lewis Taylor.
The following day, 90s Babies Festival will offer a wave of nostalgia from some big names we first encountered three decades (!) ago.
Reading like a Now That’s What I Call Nineties compilation — or front page of Smash Hits — Boyzone frontman, solo singer and One Show host, Ronan Keating is leading the charge on the main stage, joined by Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys), Eternal, Blue, Atomic Kitten, Five, Samantha Mumba, A1, 911 and Blazin’ Squad.
There will also be a 90s dance and rave extravaganza on the Clubland Stage, featuring the likes of DJ Sash! Ultrabeat, Ian Van Dahl, Flip n Fill and Friday Night Posse. We’re being told to expect non-stop anthems.
