Ed Byrne: Tragedy Plus Time

Irish comic, Ed Byrne will be a regular visitor to the North East in 2024, having booked a whopping nine dates in the region on his latest stand up tour.

Tragedy Plus Time is the veteran comedian’s most personal show to date as he explores and mines the most tragic event in his life for the funny.

Ed’s brother and respected comedy director, Paul passed away in 2022 at just 44.

While working through his grief, Ed could be confident Paul would approve of him finding the comedy in his sadness. After all, Paul chose Disco Inferno as the music for the crematorium service.

Following a flurry of dates across the region in January, Ed will be back on July 4 at The Crypt in Middlesbrough; and on October 17 at the Queen’s Hall in Hexham.
